If you’re involved in online marketing you’ve probably heard of the term ‘tribe‘.

Well if your idea of a tribe is more this…..

The-Smurfs-007

Than this…..

Then you’re not alone.

Nowadays the term ‘tribe’ is used to describe a group of like minded people who are hanging out together on social media sites (Facebook, Google +) in order to share each other’s content.

Why are they doing this?

Simply to improve the traffic to their websites, Facebook pages and blogs.

Because we all know traffic is crucial to the success of any online enterprise.

How do you find a tribe?

Tribes are all over Facebook, lurking away. You may see them come up in your suggested groups and you can join freely. Many of them are secretive, closed door groups and you can only get into these by invitation.

The traffic from a tribe is only as good as the tribe. What I mean is quality comments are what you are looking for, from people with top class blogs, rather than just an endless stream of pitchs and pointless comments made purely to promote themselves. Quality commenting benefits both the blog and the commentator.

I’m currently part way through a 30 Day Blogging Challenge and would like to extend an invitation for anyone interested to join my tribe – It’s simply called The Traffic Tribe.

If you are interested leave a comment below with your email address and I will send you an invite.

Likewise if you are part of a tribe and want to share, leave a comment below, I’m always looking to comment on more quality blogs!

I’m looking forward to some inter-tribal relationships.

Let’s help each other out.

Here’s to your online success,
