How To Create a Squeeze Page With A Build A Blog Premium Theme

Squeeze PageBuild A Blog Premium Themes come with the capability to create a squeeze page right from within the WordPress Dashboard.

No need for costly extra software such as Optimize Press or Ten Minute Pages.

Here’s how to make your Squeeze Page/Lead Capture Page/Landing Page/Thank You Page in a few easy steps.

Step 1: Create Your Page

Create a new page in WordPress in the usual way and add the text and images that you want to appear on your Squeeze page.

Step 2: Select The Squeeze Page Template

On your page go to the right hand sidebar and select Squeeze Page from the Template Dropdown in the Page Attributes box. Note: this has to be a page NOT a post.

 Click Update to see the Squeeze Page options.

Step 3: Specify Your Squeeze Page Configuration

You have the following options:

  • Remove the header – simply removes the standard header from your blog
  • Remove the background glare – your theme may have a background pattern that you don’t want on your squeeze page
  • Remove the primary horizontal navigation bar – removes the horizontal menu
  • Remove the footer
  • Modify the sheet width – you can change the layout to specify a different width to your usual theme

Step 4: Remove the Sidebar (Optional)

You may or may not wish to remove the default sidebar on your Squeeze Page, To do this simply uncheck the box in the right hand Theme Options box as below

You also have the option of specifying a different custom sidebar if you wish using the Page Modification >> Change The Sidebar Layout option. I will cover this in more detail in a separate post.
